Venetian Plaster:
Venetian plaster walls are lovely to behold.
In America people think of plaster as something coarse and chalky like cement stucco. Venetian plaster is something far different. The traditional finish is translucent, smooth as porcelain, and has a wonderful depth and luster. Regular paint looks lifeless in comparison. It comes in a variety of colors just like paint. The plaster is applied and then polished to a hard sheen. In addition there are other varieties that can make your walls look and feel like leather, polished stone or stone block walls. A wide range of effects are available.
